Heavy Rain will be out February 23rd and already it’s starting to see some good reviews by people like Famitsu and OPM. Quantic Dreams appears to really have outdone themselves here with a title that appears to push the PS3 even further. to give you an example of how good this game is shaping up to be here is a quote directly from the Official PlayStation Magazine on Heavy Rain “Before the opening credits finished we quite literally had to pause the game and step away to catch out breath.”

Heavy Rain is a story-inundated game as much as the developer wants to keep from calling it a game it is still a game, and looks like a damn good one too. However, there is only one thing that can hold Heavy Rain back, in my opinion, and that is the glitches. In my experience with the demo, I had to restart the demo twice just to get it to work properly. First, when one character you play as (Norman Jaden) would be able to put away his sunglasses without using his hands. Yep his glasses floated off his head and sank in his shirt. Second, during interviewing Lauren Winter she stopped moving all together. These are problems that can be patched and I just hope and pray that they’re resolved when the full game comes out later this month.

Despite the problems me and others have had with Heavy Rain, I still believe that the game will do very well and succeed so look forward to our review of heavy rain at the end of this month.
