Your info to New Vegas is here.
Since the teaser was released many were wondering when will they get details regarding Fallout: New Vegas. Well that ends today as we have details from The Vault (Fallout Wiki Page). There’s a lot of new things awaiting in Vegas and here’s what we got summed up for you:
There is an optional hardcore mode, the character needs to drink water, ammo has weight, healing isn’t instant etc. Normal mode is more similar to Fallout 3 gameplay. Vegas didn’t get many nukes. More intact buildings, as well as desert vegetation. Vegas itself is mostly intact. The storyline is focused on the New California Republic vs. Caesar’s Legion vs. New Vegas residents. You are not a vault dweller but are given a Pip-Boy by someone who is one. You are a courier, left for dead and saved by a friendly robot. There is a screenshot of a vault suit as well. There is an assault rifle looking like the M4, as well as a new machine gun that shoots grenades. There are special moves for melee weapons in VATS – specifically a move for a golf club called “Fore!” which seems to be a groin shot. The Hoover Dam is in the game and is supplying electricity to the city. There is a quest to rescue a ghoul from some super mutants. The ghoul can then become your companion (more…)
Take a look at Bethesda’s new upcoming title Brink.

Take on the Chinese Resistance in this DLC
Operation Anchorage takes you on a quest that will put you in the pit of the Battle of Anchorage before the Bombs dropped, is this DLC sturdy or does it fall short?

End the Enclave once and for all
Bethesda has just released their first DLC on PS3 for Fallout 3, Broken Steel. Broken Steel takes you on a quest to end the enclave once and for all but does it make up for the wait?

Everything you could ever want in Fallout 3
Finally, Bethesda has released information regarding the DLC for Fallout 3 and it’s coming out on September 24th starting with Broken Steel, and afterward Operation: Anchorage and The Pitt on Oct 1st, and finally Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta on Oct 8th. Once all that is done, on Oct 13th The Game of the Year Edition will be released in stores and will contain every DLC that is released and of course Trophies. I for one cannot wait since I am a huge fan of Fallout 3 but patience is virtue and I’m sure we’ll all be happy once Broken Steel hits next week.

Here We Come, Sorta.
Fallout 3 has just received an update, once the game is in your PS3 and booted up you’ll be prompt to download 1.61 . Now wait a minute, Fallout 3 was at 1.3 last time we checked, does this mean that DLC will be on it’s way tomorrow with Broken Steel hitting the PS3 first instead of Operation: Anchorage? Only time will tell.
