Today, Namco Bandai has announced the coming of a new cooperatively-focused action-adventure release by the name of Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom.
In Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom, the story follows a once lively community that has been overshadowed by a destructive force of darkness. When the people tried to reclaim their homes, warriors arose from the blackness and struck them down. 100 years has passed since then. An intelligent and agile outsider has just wandered into this ghost town, where he’ll meet up with a monstrous being possessing incredible strength who he’ll befriend, named Majin. Together their destiny lies in uncovering the mystifying spell that has drawn its evil over this desolate place.
Players will take control of the humanoid who will face difficulties when it comes to traversing the environment, where his new AI-operated buddy Majin will follow through with command prompts. Along the way, Majin will gain experience that will allow him to access previously closed off surroundings. Through stealth, platforming elements, combat, and a course on finding your way, Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom is sounding like an appealing quest that is intended for a widespread audience.
The game, from Game Republic (the makers of such games as Folklore and the Genji series), has no current release date specified. Although, it looks as if it will land on shelves sometime later this year.
