Looking for some extra challenges in the single player part of Bioshock 2 then this might be for you. The next set of trials called The Protector Trials, which will test every ounce of the Big Daddy in you to defend little sisters from enemy splicers. A lot of people found this type of challenge to be too repetitive already in the single player, so will this affect your purchase decision?
The Protector Trials will include six new maps to play on, 7 new trophies to collect, and bunch of unlockable concept art and videos for all you fans of the series. This will be taking players back to the roots of their favorite levels of the original Bioshock, so that might spike your interest.
According to 2kMarin we should be seeing some more single player DLC on the way after the release of this one, and it seems that they are really devoted to making the single player experience more than what it’s worth, or so we hope at least.
For those of you thinking about picking this one up the DLC will become available on August 3rd for the price of 4.99.

Alright so I’ve seen a lot of articles about Playstation plus saying it’s a horrible service. I would like to try and counter all these articles. Playstation Plus in my opinion is a deal. Technically it’s a great deal. You get lots of discounts and deals on content at the Playstation store as well as betas and full game trails. Of course none of this is supposedly stellar content in terms of what a lot of people have been saying. Now what I am about to tell you is NOT a catch. If you end your subscription you lose your FREE games you got.

Why so Much Hate?
With anticipation of the latest PlayStation 3 firmware update that includes the long awaited PlayStation Plus feature, the PlayStation Blog has just released details as to what we can expect from the latest firmware update. Here are the details courtesy of the PlayStation Blog:
As we all know there will be some hidden features upon the release of this update but until then, there is a lot to look forward to including PlayStation Plus.
Update: Firmware 3.40 has gone live as of 1AM EST, go on and download now!
So what’s there to say about Red Dead Redemption? Well a lot actually, a whole lot to be precise. It is an open world adventure unlike any other kind and is set at the turn of the twentieth century. This was a turbulent time in American History when the lawless ‘Wild West’ was taking an unexpected turn, rapidly being crushed by the combination of effective government and the rapid advancement of technology. Compared to a GTA game it has its similarities but it has really turned out to be so much more. It is truly a one of a kind experience that you won’t find anywhere else.
Recently on the Battlefield blog a post was made about the current issues facing the PS3 Medal of Honor Beta you can read the post here.
They mentioned the update to be released in the next several days.
As the beta progresses, we’ll be addressing critical issues based on the information you provide. Our first patch planned for the PlayStation 3 will be going live in the next several days, and address a number of stability issues, including but not limited to:
• Various in-game crashes (including fixing bugs around scoreboard access, and support actions received while using AK47 & AKs74u)
• Improving performance, with greatest gains in crowded environments
• Improving matchmaking configurations
• Improving join-friend functionality
So as you can tell it appears that they are working on a lot of the problems facing the current beta we hope to see this update soon and remember there are still Medal of Honor beta codes for us to give away so stay tuned to PSN@home!
Edit: The Update is now live weighing in at 268MB for you to download. Once you boot the game you will be prompt to download the latest patch.
