Uncharted 2 Double Cash Weekend and Lab Tomorrow! Thursday, September 2nd, 2010

Naughty Dog has just posted more info for their Lab playlist this weekend which will be featuring 3 vs 3  Deathmatch. Also to celebrate the start of the September Lab, Naughty will be making this weekend a  Double Cash weekend meaning all that money you earn will be doubled at the end of the match. The Lab and Double Cash will start from September 3rd 10AM PDT and last until September 7th 10AM PDT. Get on there fortune hunters and have a blast playing Uncharted 2 this weekend!

Why is Amimono Making a Sackboy? Wednesday, September 1st, 2010

You may know of the mysterious countdown timer called Amimono which ends later today. well as the days have progressed you can now see what he is knitting and it appears to be a SACKBOY?

This picture looks like mafia meets Sackboy so who knows what this could mean but what are you speculating this is? Either way we will probably find out at 10:00pm Central time or 11:00pm Eastern

First Person Moves Monday, August 30th, 2010

Okay so everyone out there who owns a wii and thought that First person shooters would be cool on it please stand up! Now I’m sure there is a lot of you out there who probably went out and got the wii blaster and a first person shooter game such as maybe medal of honor heroes or something and had good expectations of how that would play out with motion controls. Some of you may have liked it but if your someone like me you noticed the flaws in this.

PlayStation Survey Hints Comics For PS3 Saturday, August 28th, 2010

Comics on PS3, how do you feel about that?

In a recent survey released by Sony, could Comics be making an appearance on the lovable PS3? It appears as that might happen as you see in the picture above taken from the survey. The questions about PSP owners using comics and also asked what if they were to make an appearance on PS3.

Check your emails if you have received a survey just as we did and fill it out. Who knows, maybe comics will see the light on PS3 for those huge comic readers out there.

Bioshock 2′s Minerva’s Den Out On August 31 Thursday, August 26th, 2010

Today the Cult of Rapture has announced the date of the final downloadable content for Bioshock 2. Minerva’s Den will be releasing next Tuesday on the PlayStation Network and no price point has been set but we would assume a $9.99 price tag will be on this DLC.

“Minerva’s Den” for BioShock 2 – a narrative-driven single player addition that puts you back into Rapture and the boots of a Big Daddy. While you explore Rapture Central Computing, you will learn new secrets of the city, encounter new weapons, experiment with a brand new Plasmid, and face off against the most dangerous residents we’ve seen to date.

Medal of Honor Beta Feedback & Improvements Monday, August 23rd, 2010

As the dust clears away from the Medal of Honor beta, a lot of bugs were found and a lot of issues that were a pain in our asses when we played the beta. EA has provided a list of improvements that were made from feedback across the beta. What’s improved and fixed? Here’s the list:

Improved Hit Detection

This was a very big issue and came up many times in the forums. We are glad to say that hit detection has been vastly improved. We really tightened up the mechanics and essentially, wherever the bullet hits on the body — that is where the hit registers. It is even possible to shoot and have the bullet go between someone’s legs – it is that precise!

Weapon Pickups

Out of ammo? No longer do you need to find an ammo crate. Find the nearest dead enemy/friendly and pick up their weapon. And remember, the knife knows no ammunition, so if you really want to be Tier 1 — pull out that bad boy and start slashing your way to victory.
